Sue Lyons M.A. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Director of Speech-Language Services

Sue is the Director and a Speech-Language Pathologist at the Speech and Language Center. She provides therapy in both the school-based program and the outpatient program. Sue attended Boston College and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1992. She received her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from George Washington University in 1994 and her Certificate of Clinical Competence in 1995. Sue worked with the Fairfax County Public School System for eight years and also part time in various private settings.
Cristina Bell M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Tina recently joined the Speech and Language Center of Northern Virginia and is excited to be a part the team. Tina holds a B.A. in Psychology from Boston College, and a M.A. in Speech Pathology from Kean University. Tina has almost twenty years of experience working as a speech pathologist in the public school systems in Texas and New Jersey and most recently in private practice here in Virginia.
Cristina Payne M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist

Cris is a bilingual English-Spanish Speech Language Therapist with an interest in early language development, the development of social communication skills, and swallow and feeding disorders. Cris completed her education at the University of Texas at Dallas where she obtained a B.S. in Psychology, a B.A. in Speech and Language Pathology, and a M.S. in Communication Disorders.  Cris began her career in 2008 and has since gained experience working with children in outpatient and in home settings.
All of our SLPs enjoy working with children of all ages and watching each child grow and expand their communication abilities. They recognize that all children have different strengths and weaknesses and tailor each child’s therapy to the personality and interests of the child.
